Markets in the Puy-de Dôme

Stroll through the aisles of a lively market and taste all the local specialities and local produce. Below the list of markets in and around Saint-Nectaire:

  1. Sunday morning: Saint-Nectaire (only in the summer months of July and August)
  2. Monday morning: Besse-et-Saint-Anastaise
  3. Wednesday morning: Murol
  4. Thursday morning: Thiers
  5. Friday morning: Le Mont Dore and Champeix
  6. Saturday morning: La Bourboule and Issoire

In Clermont-Ferrand there are markets from Tuesday morning to Sunday morning.

Come pedal and gain altitude in Auvergne! Cycling is a great way to get away from it all in just a few minutes and enjoy nature. Cyclists and mountain bikers can have fun in the immediate vicinity of our villa. Lose yourself in the beautiful mountainous region, with many cycle paths and tracks to take and enjoy, with up to an altitude of about 1600 meters.

From Saint-Nectaire to Le Mont-Dore, you will find some impressive climbs via the Col de la Croix Morand, the Col de Guéry, the Col de Croix Saint Robert and also the climb to La Stèle.
