Welcome
Sometimes people ask me ‘why did you decided to settle down here in Saint-Nectaire, in the Auvergne and open a Bed & Breakfast?' The answer is quite simple: I fell in love with this beautiful property and its area at first sight.
It all started back in 2003: My partner and I owned a boat. We took a year off to navigate on the rivers and canals of Europe. We started from The Netherlands, via Belgium and then to France. We fell in love with France and decided we wanted to stay. We then sold our house in The Netherlands to start a B&B adventure.
After several visits, we fell for this magnificent 19th century Villa in Saint-Nectaire. After an intensive period of renovations, the Villa was finally ready and looking as we imagined it, with all of today's modern comforts, yet still retaining its authenticity.
So come over to explore this beautiful region of the Auvergne and find out why we are so happy here. And enjoy a great holiday in the Massif du Sancy.

Apartment
The attractive apartment 'Le Ciel' (which means 'the Sky’ in French) with its magical turret, accommodates up to 4 people comfortably with two bedrooms, bathroom, lounge, kitchen. It is located on the second floor of the villa, with its own private entrance, fully furnished and tastefully decorated.
“Le Ciel” is a place where you can finally read that book in peace on your own private terrace, go for a nice walk in the surrounding area, have a nice meal in the garden... in short, enjoy this space and the freedom overlooking the garden.
Our Breakfast service is available if you wish, with also the possibility of evening dining at our “Table d’hôtes" on booking.

'Le Ciel'Discover the Sancy
The 'Massif du Sancy' in the Auvergne, is a UNESCO World Heritage Site since 2018.
One of the peaks of this unspoiled massif is France's highest volcano, Le Puy de Sancy at 1,886-meter high.
